Radu is a Berlin based actor, performer and singer/songwriter, currently working as an actor/musician at Stage Bluemax Theater, Berlin. He finished his undergraduate acting studies at The Faculty of Theater and Film from Babes-Bolyai University, where he formed his skills and interests around physical, camera and mask acting. He then followed a master degree program at art.haus Berlin ITR Centre for Devised Theater and Performance, focusing on the process of embodied writing and emerging dramaturgies for the performative scene.
Profesionally, Radu worked in the film, theater, music and entertainment scene. In 2023 and 2024, he played for the Blueman Group at Astor Place Theater in New York and Briar Street Theater in Chicago. He participated in workshops with romanian directors Adrian Sitaru and Radu Jude and worked as an extra for the movie RMN (2022), directed by Cristian Mungiu. In theater, he worked in productions at Centrul de Creatie Maidan (Cluj-Napoca) and Apropo Theater (Bucharest). Musically, he performed for festivals: Untold, Electric Castle, Jazz in the Park, Jazz in the Street. Currently, he is working on his first independent album release.
