About me

Otilia Panainte is a film and theater actress based in Bucharest, Romania. She was born in Onesti, Romania, in 1982.
She graduated from the Musical Theatre Master Program at Universitatea “Dunarea de Jos” in Galati, Romania and The Central Academy of Drama in Beijing, China (2017).

Her theater debut was in 2019 in the production “The Sound of Music”, directed by renowned Romanian choreographer and director Razvan Mazilu. The same year marked her TV debut in the “Las Fierbinti” TV series featured on PRO TV. Her film debut was in 2021 in the short movie “Intercom 15”.

Otilia also attended Romanian new wave director Cristi Puiu’s workshop for acting on camera in 2021, resulting in a film production to be released in 2022. Otilia is an active member of the Independent Center for Actor Training in London, as well as the Let It Go Acting Studio in Bucharest.
