Dodo Macovei is a Romanian actress and ballerina, a graduate of the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași and the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles. She made her stage debut in 2012 at the National Theatre “Vasile Alecsandri” in Iași and has since performed in numerous national and international theatre festivals and competitions.
Known for her ability to bring raw, authentic emotion to every role, Dodo works truthfully under imaginary circumstances, creating characters that feel deeply human. Her strong foundation in classical ballet and movement allows her to combine emotional depth with powerful physical expression.
She has appeared in major commercial campaigns for brands such as BCR, Cibus, Pepsi, Iulius Mall etc. and has developed a distinctive versatility across genres. In addition to her dramatic range, Dodo possesses exceptional physical control and horror performance skills — from extreme body flexibility to precise emotional transformation.
Currently based between Los Angeles and Europe, Dodo continues to evolve as an artist and will soon be seen in new film and television projects – stay tuned.
