Catinca Baldovin is a Romanian actress based in Berlin, fluent in Romanian and English. Having graduated with a Bachelor in Screen Acting from the Catalyst University of Creative Arts and Technology, she is planning to relocate to London and try out studying film production, in order to better her craft as an actor and become an all-round artist.
Whether on stage or screen, Catinca’s performances are marked by a strong, steady presence that allows space for fragility to emerge organically. This interplay of strength and softness has become a signature in her work.
Her latest project is a short film that she also directed “ Bones of my past” which deals with the struggle of holding on to your past and memories, trying to live your life whilst reminiscing and yearning for everything you left behind.
She enjoys drama shows, horror films, and chaotic comedies. Her favourite way of spending her free time is going out and enjoying the city whilst sipping on a matcha latte. Her skills include swimming, horse riding, painting, and dancing.
