I am Bogdan, I am a thespisian (amateur) actor. Since 2019 I have been part of a theatre group called Thespis (https://www.facebook.com/teatrulthespis). It is a place where I found passionate people who are not professional actors and work in different domains but they are passionate about theatre and they are a true inspiration to me, from whom I learnt a lot.
The most significant role I played was in one of Matei Visniec's plays, "Clown wanted", a tragicomedy. I was one of the old clowns, Nicollo who's main purpose, as for the other 2 clowns, to be selected for a show, probably and sadly his last one, as his life is near the end. Together with the director, I and the other actors from the play took part in an extensive research about clowns, about their origins, about commedia dell'arte, each step taking us to creating and bringing to life the characters, just like in a laboratory.
I am also a cinephile, I love movies and my dream is that one day I can be in one or in TV series.
I love the whole process regarding a theatre play, creating a character, doing research, the rehearsals. It is amazing what can bring everything you do to the play, to be vivid and true on the stage.
I am at the beginning of my career but I am hardworking and know deep in my heart that with passion and work, one day the results will follow.
